Public Classes, Workshops, Individual lessons and small groups by arrangement: in Central Christchurch and Ilam

Practice

Students of a wide range of interests find in class that they can improve as they age.  Sports people, musicians, gardeners, and people with challenges at the computer are among those who come to my classes for the public, individual sessions or workshops.  Some of my central city classes are taught through The Muse Community Trust www.themuse.org.nz .

A particular passion is working with musicians, vocalists, speakers, actors and those interested in breathing and voicing. I also teach singing, and coach performance and movement at National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Art (NASDA).

Profile

Feldenkrais lessons have helped me as a professional singer to overcome challenges such as headaches, chronic neck tension, and sciatic pain that impaired my performance, my sleep, and many of my daily activities.

I am fascinated by the interplay of movement, emotion, breath and vocal function and enjoy supporting others in their daily lives and in preparation for specialized activities.
